As the leader of kgm for years and as a senior executive with Ogilvy Public Relations before that, I have helped businesses from many industries stand-out on- and off-line. To be remembered. And acted upon.
My journey began as a journalist writing about the business of and consumer travel. What we call Content writing today. I switched to the business side—public relations marketing—and found my passion. Creating ideas that work and drive business for companies such as Lever, American Express, KLM, International Paper and Puerto Rico Tourism.
At Ogilvy, a pioneer in integrated marketing—orchestrating advertising, direct response, consumer public relations, public affairs and new media solutions in teams for a client—I learned marketing is an art and a science of many moving parts.
Today, that is called traditional outbound marketing. The problem is that the traditional, “interruption-based” media just don’t work the way they used to.
My craft and the agency evolved in the evolving digital world. We call it inbound marketing today. We leverage all things digital to drive results for businesses the same way traditional marketing, advertising and public relations was supposed to drive results using offline “real world” media.
I am still a creative content creator. With images, text, videos. With the disciplines of search engine marketing, email marketing and social media.
My journey around the web has convinced me that good content marketing is incredibly effective. It boosts brand awareness, drives consumers to purchase your product, and it gives you much desired SEO juice.
And making it all work is with earned and paid marketing tactics that need to run in parallel so that our clients will be visible online.
So, try us. kgm wants to help you become a better, smarter, happier digital marketer.
